The letter was sent by express mail on 15.02.2007, the attached are three articles from the biggest Israeli newspaper "Yediot Aharonot" ,talking about the Israeli refugees in Canada.
The second is about Ami Meshulam who asks for refuge in Canada, with the Israeli foriegn ministry committing the faux pas of openly proposing to intervene in the affairs of the independent human rights tribunal in Canada

Dear Mr. Baker,
On 31st October, 2006 an article in the Yedioth Aharonoth newspaper (attached) written by Itamar Eichner and Nurit Palter reported that you, the Israeli Ambassador to Canada, were demanding that the Canadian authorities stop granting political asylum to Israeli citizens. In addition, it was said that you stated that all the claims of those requesting asylum were false.
Other than the above-mentioned article, there was another one on 4th May, 2006 in the Shalom Toronto weekly where you expressed the same ideas.
I would like to ask you the following:
Did you examine the matter thoroughly before asserting that the claims of those requesting asylum were false?
Did you get legal authorization to make those claims?
Did you listen to and check into the claims of the asylum seekers before you declared them to be false?
I would like to let you, Sir, in on a little secret:
My name is Emmanuel Yedidia Meshulam and I am the son of Rabbi Uzi Meshulam of Yehud. It is a long story but I will try to tell it as briefly as possible.
My father, Rabbi Uzi Meshulam, exposed a crime sanctioned and carried out by the corrupt authorities that control the entire ruling establishment of the State of Israel. That crime consisted of the kidnapping of young children from their naïve parents. My father’s exposure of the crime resulted in his receiving threats from a senior Shin Bet agent called Ilan Raz – a pseudonym of course – in 1978. Unfortunately, those threats were carried out then, and continue to be carried out today.
Those same corrupt officials who ruined my father also saw it fit to harass me and many of my entourage and the people close to me. In November 2006, I was banished from the land of my fathers together with my wife, my three young children and my brother-in-law to Canada, a foreign land where I did not even understand the language. Not long after my arrival there, I discovered that my “Zionist” interpreter, whose job it was to explain what I was saying to the Immigration authorities, had conveyed lies rather than my words.
I would like to emphasize the fact that I was the one that asked for my hearing to be open to the public and I was always perfectly open about all my claims and I therefore ask that you check before you make statements.
For your information, Ms. Amy Nathanson, former President of the Israel-Canada Chamber of Commerce, came to visit me and was moved to tears by the evidence that I presented to her. You too are invited to come to my home and I will give you any information that you wish to have and maybe then you will understand that political persecution beyond your wildest imagination is indeed taking place, to such an extent that you would be hard-pressed to believe that it is possible for such political persecution to occur in a country that calls itself “democratic”.
I am disappointed that an Israeli diplomat would commit the faux pas of openly proposing to intervene in the affairs of an independent human rights tribunal in
the foreign state to which he is accredited. Imagine the furor if Canada's Ambassador made public statements concerning matters before the Israeli courts.
